Installation Instructions:
CheckWriter comes with an installation card. To get a copy of
this card by fax:
Click Here for a
SINGLE User Instruction Card
Click Here for a
Network Edition Instruction Card
Directions: Insert Your CheckWriter CD Into
Your CD ROM Drive. The AutoRun Feature should begin the
installation process automatically.
If installation does not begin automatically, go to the My
Computer Icon on your Desktop and click on the CheckWriter
Icon above the picture of your CD ROM Drive.
Next, follow the
on-screen instructions until installation is complete. Do not
select the option to allow your computer to restart when you are
prompted, say NO and manually restart your machine when the
installation is fully completed.
YOU MUST REBOOT
YOUR COMPUTER MANUALLY FROM THE START MENU BEFORE USING CHECKWRITER
FOR THE FIRST TIME.
NOTE: THE FIRST TIME YOU USE CheckWriter™
- Be sure your create a new record.

Also - when you start
the program check that your MICR font is active. If needed
activate your font manually.
To activate your
font: Close the Program,
Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel and then Fonts.
Look for the MICR
E13B font in your fonts folder and double click on it. View the
font and select "done". When you restart the software
the font will be activated.

It has fixes to common issues and includes this handy binocular
search button that allows you to instantly search any field.
Binocular Search Button Available in Version 5.2+
To update your version, read
the directions in the "Update"
folder on your CD.
