We have had reports of "Error 3706" on some releases just after installing CheckWriter in Windows 98SE.  If you experience this error message download this Jet service pack.  With all programs, including CheckWriter closed, unzip Jet.Zip and run the application by double clicking on it.  When it is done, restart your computer, and run CheckWriter.

Some users have reported that they can only enter short bank names, and longer bank names are being cut off.  Download this new check50.zip file into the: C:\Program Files\CheckWriter directory and unzip it. When prompted to replace the existing file, select YES.  This will allow for a much longer bank name.  If you have any issues with this file, you can download a copy of the old check50.rpt file HERE.
