Back Up Your Database:

To back up your CheckWriter data, first close CheckWriter and go to your CheckWriter folder:

c:/program files/CheckWriter6

Look for this file in the folder
 
It is called CW50.mdb

[If you are backing up a version 5.xx database look in c:\program files\CheckWriter]

Right click on the file and select Copy.

Next, find your back up source, this could be a floppy disk if your database is less than 1.4MB, or it could simply be another folder on your hard drive.

Once you select your back up source, right click and select Paste.  You now have a duplicate copy of your database in a back-up location.

HINT: If your database fits on a floppy, you can also right click and select 'Send to 3.5" Floppy'
